Dell has unveiled Vostro 460, the latest from its Vostro range of desktops targeted at small businesses.

The new model is the US computer maker’s first SMB desktop PC offering with new Intel Sandy Bridge Quad Core processors that the company says allows users to multi-task more efficiently.

The desktop computer, available in the UK now for £508.80, comes with a hard-disk capacity expandable up to 3TB, up to 150W of graphics-card power and besides a Blu-ray Disc drive and 7.1 HD sound.

Customers can choose their own level of IT support with optional Dell ProSupport services, according to a press note released by Dell.

The company said the Vostro 460 with several desktop-accessible service and support solutions and a tool-less chassis to easily expand memory and graphics capabilities has been designed specifically to meet business needs.

The computer also features a built-in security services from Chinese security company Trend Micro.
