Kofax, a provider of document driven business process automation offerings, has extended its enterprise capture platform with new capabilities.
The new enhancements support new applications and use cases; improve usability, system set up and administration; enhanced enterprise class systems management and control; and is expected to provide customers with increased productivity and return on investment (ROI).
The company said that by extending high volume capture capabilities with improved handling of data; it offers customers a scalable platform for capturing all information as it enters their organisations.
In addition, the company has enhanced its system monitoring capability to better manage and control a broader set of information types and enable accelerated document processing.
Kofax said the new enhanced capabilities captures financial process automation application for accounts payable (AP) and other functions, and provides business users with one click approval or rejection in an easily configurable user interface.
In addition, the company’s MarkView for Accounts Payable is re-certified for SAP NetWeaver, which provides the technical foundation for SAP applications.
The company said the enhanced automated ingestion of electronic documents are captured and converted into electronic images by its Capture and Transformation Modules, text and data are extracted from the images, email, faxes and attachments, reducing processing time, costs and eliminating lost or misfiled documents.
Kofax executive vice president of products Jim Nicol said by focusing on and delivering capabilities that accelerate business processes, the company has made it even easier for customers to make their document capture platforms enterprise ready and enjoy increased performance, reduced costs and a rapid, measurable ROI.
