SAP’s software revenue has jumped 12% to €3.36bn in the third quarter.
Its software and cloud subscription revenue grew by 6% from 2012 to hit €1.17bn, while the company’s operating profit grew 15% to €1.3bn in the quarter.
The company’s non-IFRS deferred cloud subscription and support revenue also went up by 79% for the quarter to €382m, against the same period last year.
SAP’s HANA software is continuing to be its main driver with 79% increase in software revenue to €149m.
Software and cloud subscription revenue in the Americas region increased 17% year-over-year, driven by strong software revenue performance in Latin America and cloud subscription and support revenue growth in North America.
SAP Co-CEOs Bill McDermott and Jim Hagemann Snabe said: "We now are the second largest enterprise cloud company with an annual cloud revenue run rate exceeding €1bn. We continue to gain market share and grow significantly faster than our primary competitor in all regions."
