Rockstar North, the maker of Grand Theft Auto has released a GTA 5 Online version, amid server worries as there could be a greater-than-projected crowd keen to take part.

The game maker said in a statement that matters could be more temperamental than such things usually are as using so many computers introduced their own issues.

"We are working around the clock to buy and add more servers," Rockstar North added.

The online version of the 18-rated violent crime game allows simultaneous interaction of up to 16 players and enables creating personalised avatars.

Users are offered the online version for free with every copy of the GTA 5 console video game.

The online version of GTA includes 500 missions and ample of other leisure time activities for players without excluding any of the crime, jobs, sports, races, and modifications, while players can also make money flow and status.

Rockstar is planning to monitor the launch and to make efforts for smoother launch, while it is also encouraging players to report any issue together with their overall feedback about the online experience.

The game maker had faced ‘unanticipated’ pressure over stronger than anticipated sales of the console, with sales reaching over 15 million units by early last week.

In mid September, Amazon.co.uk had reportedly delivered copies of Grand Theft Auto 5 prior to the official launch, violating a strict embargo set by the Rockstar.
