Science Applications International (SAIC) has been awarded a follow-on task order by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), to provide software and technical support to the Center for Scientific Review (CSR).
Under the contract, SAIC will support the CSR in areas including: software and web development, network administration, and desktop and help desk assistance.
SAIC said that the work will be performed in Bethesda, Maryland.
The indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity task order has a six month base period of performance and nine six-month options and a total contract ceiling of more than $24m if all options are exercised.
SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager Steve Comber said they look forward to continuing their support of the CSR as it continues to enhance systems and enable a more efficient and cost effective way of conducting scientific reviews of grant applications.
