Acer has unveiled a new smartphone Liquid S2, which is claimed to have 4K Ultra HD recording capability.
According to the company, the device allows users to record fast full-HD 1080p videos at 60 frames per second and also in 4x slow motion.
The new smartphone is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and runs on Google’s runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
Acer Liquid S2 comes with 16GB internal storage capacity that can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD cards and is fueled by a 3300mAh non-user replaceable battery.
The device is equipped with a 6-inch full-HD curved Gorilla Glass 3.0 display with IPS technology as well as 1080×1920 pixels resolution and pixel density of 368ppi.
The device also has a 13MP auto-focus f2.2 camera at the rear with BSI sensor and an LED ring flash having four LEDs as well as a 2MP front-facing camera.
Acer is planning to launch the Liquid S2 form the end of October 2013 in Red and Black colour variants.
