Lenovo has expanded its enterprise products portfolio with the addition of a new thin client device, the Lenovo ThinkCentre M32.

ThinkCentre M32 is powered by an Intel Celeron Platform and runs on the Linux-based thin client operating system, LeTOS or an optional Windows Embedded Standard 7 operating system.

According to the company, the device offers enterprise-level functionality and lower capital investments, while reducing management and maintenance costs.

Visuals VP and general manager Victor Rios said: "The ThinkCentre M32 is a small-form factor thin client that adds value to our quality desktop products and helps enterprises meet end-to-end IT solutions for desktop virtualization."

Features of the new thin client device include Lenovo Terminal Manager (LTM) software, a management software that helps customers to centrally manage thin client.

ThinkCentre M32 is claimed to eliminates the security risks from viruses, spyware or theft as the data is stored on the network, not the thin client.

Additionally, Lenovo has partnered with thin client technology provider Devon IT for the development of advanced thin client software applications.
