A new app has been launched to enable companies to approve transactions while on the move.
Advanced Business Solutions released its app on iTunes yesterday for customers of its eFinancials finance system, which provides firms with procure-to-pay, invoice-to-cash and account-to-report capabailities.
Its Advanced Air Approvals app means procurement staff can approve or reject transactions while out and about.
The real-time application allows staff to access key financial data from their mobile device, with each user having their own PIN code as well as the app coming with an automatic time-out feature to ensure confidential information is not left open.
Dean Dickinson, Managing director of Advanced Business Solutions, said: "Feedback from our customers led us to develop the Advanced Air Approvals application, which is a quick and easy way for organisations to keep on top of their payments while on the move.
"This single point of authorisation will allow managers to approve both orders and invoices from their mobile devices, which will save time and keep them in the know, even when they are away from their computers.
"Today, organisations are looking for the most innovative way to drive efficiencies and with this application, we are allowing our customers to keep up-to-date with technology, ultimately to suit their business needs."
The app is only available for eFinancials users at the moment, but the company plans to open it up to other financial systems in the future, though no specific dates are available.
