iPhone users opening attachments on bogus snapshot messages have had their device infected with a malicious piece of malwayre, that, once downloaded can steal login data for FTP accounts and download additional malware.
Identified by Bitdefender as Trojan.Generic.9465593, the attached Trojan can access data for various browser credentials and bitcoin wallets.
The threat was also disguised within a spam campaign offering "latest Apply guides, news and reviews" and 90% off deals for iPad 4 and iPhone 5.
