OpenText has acquired its long-term partner, ICCM Solutions, and released a new process application to strengthen its BPM portfolio.
OpenText said it will integrate the Malmesbury-based company’s applications with its IBM platform to deliver a business process application framework, enabling process components to be reused in BPM deployments.
The company said the process application framework, unlike traditional coding, delivers vertical and horizontal process-based applications within 30 days.
The framework also has a library of reusable service components that should help users reduce deployment time by 25%, compared to other BPM approaches.
Muhi Majzoub, VP at OpenText, said the acquisition would help its users gain the best of both worlds: "ICCM’s powerful Assure framework and applications for IT Service Management and HR services fit like a glove with our existing BPM solutions."
OpenText has also released a new process application designed for IT service managers.
The OpenText Assure manages delivery processes including requests, ticket generation and issue resolution.
