Microsoft has abandoned two policies, which it planned to introduce for its upcoming Xbox One game console.
As per the new plans, users will no longer require an internet connection for every 24 hours in order to play games offline and there will be no limitations on using and sharing games.
The company said it will also remove regional locks on Xbox One games, which will enable titles bought in a single global territory to work in all other territories.
Microsoft president of interactive entertainment business Don Mattrick said: "Since unveiling our plans for Xbox One, my team and I have heard directly from many of you, read your comments and listened to your feedback."
"I would like to take the opportunity today to thank you for your assistance in helping us to reshape the future of Xbox One," Mattrick said.
Earlier this month, Microsoft said it will launch its new Xbox One game console and entertainment system in November 2013 in 21 countries.
The new system will incorporate the new Xbox One console featuring a 500GB hard drive, Blu-ray player and built-in Wi-Fi, in addition to the new Kinect, an Xbox One Wireless Controller and a free 14-day trial of Xbox Live Gold for new members.
