Samsung Electronics has released the new Samsung GALAXY Core smartphone, with dual core processing power and dual SIM technology.
The device is powered by a 1.2GHz Dual Core application processor that is claimed to perform data intensive tasks at faster rate.
Running on an Android 4.1 version known as Jelly Bean, the phone will be available with 8GB internal memory, which can be expanded up to 64GB with external memory, and 1GB RAM.
The smartphone has a 4.3-inch WVGA TFT LCD screen with resolution of 480x800PPI, a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, a VGA camera in the front and comes with connectivity support for the WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, MicroUSB, USB 2.0 and GPS.
Power for the device is supplied through a Lithium ion 1,800mAh battery, while the device also features inbuilt sensors like the accelerometer, Proximity and Digital Compass.
Features of the device include the human interaction based Smart Stay, Smart Alert, Motion UI and the S Voice.
Samsung will launch the GALAXY Core in two versions including the single SIM option from July 2013.
