Twitter has launched the updated version of its apps for devices that run on Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS operating system.
The updated apps have features to display trends from over 100 new locations, which were recently added, and come with a Discover tab that shows the recent trends on Twitter.
Twitter iOS app version 5.6, comes with a feature that allows user to invite friends to join Twitter from within the app, playback of Vine videos and some bug repairs.
The updated Twitter app for Android comes with a Menu button, which allows users to access the accounts and settings, and also switch between accounts.
Other updates of the apps include the change in the manner of replying for the tweets, which will now include the tags of both the original author and retweeter.
