Apple has revamped its MacBook pro with Retina Display by adding new processors, as well as trimmed down its prices by $200.
The revamped 13-inch laptop will be sold for $1,499 for 128GB of flash, and the model featuring new 2.6 GHz processor and 256GB of flash for $1,699.
Features of the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display include an enhanced 2.4 GHz quad-core processor, while the top-end model 15-inch notebook features a new 2.7 GHz quad-core processor and 16GB of memory.
Apple’s 13-inch MacBook Air with 256GB of flash is now being offered at a price of $1,399.
Claimed to offer highest resolution notebook display, the MacBook Pro with Retina display allows reading emails, writing text, editing home movies in HD or retouching professional photography.
The device’s flash storage is claimed to be four times faster over the conventional notebook hard drives, and offers enhanced reliability, instant-on responsiveness as well as up to 30 days of standby time.
The device also features a FaceTime HD camera, glass Multi-Touch trackpad, backlit keyboard, dual microphones, enhanced speakers, 3-stream 802.11n Wi-Fi and a thinner MagSafe 2 power port, and a battery that delivers up to 7 hours of wireless productivity.
The new MacBook Pro will also enable users access to OS X Lion, iPhoto, iMovie, iTunes and other Apple apps such as Aperture and Final Cut Pro X.
