HP has released the Security Breach Management Solution which claims to help organisations deal with security breaches and mitigate its impact.
The solution will provide security intelligence to help organisations identify a breach quickly and start remedial action.
HP Enterprise Security Services chief technology officer Andrzej Kawalec said it is nearly impossible for organisations to prevent a breach, but organisations can take control of how to respond.
"Combining HP’s portfolio of services and software, the HP Breach Management Solution arms clients with the tools and resources to monitor, manage and respond to breaches head on, minimizing their impact while readying for the next attack," Kawalec said.
The new application features HP Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Services which collect, log, sort and filter relevant security events.
The HP Data Recovery Services within the application helps in implementing processes for backup and recovery to lessen the impact of data loss and damage.
