Armed thieves robbed the iPhone maker’s store in Paris on New Year’s Eve, stealing goods worth up to $1.32m.
A police spokeswoman told the Wall Street Journal "It is too early to give an accurate estimation of the damage. An inventory is taking place to determine the exact amount of the damage."
According to reports, the robbery took place on Monday, three hours after the store closed.
The store which was robbed is located behind Paris Opera and sells iPhones, iPads and Mac computers.
Paris police union Unsa member, Christophe Crépin, said that four masked and armed individuals forced their way into the shop and afterwards escaped in a van.
"They were well prepared. As the majority of police were busy watching the Champs Elysées [because of the New Year’s Eve celebrations], the robbers took advantage of this opportunity," he said.
