HP today announced a series of senior appointments across the organisation in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

HP has appointed Antoine Barre as vice president and general manager for HP’s Personal System Group Middle East and Africa region. In his previous role, Barre led the Personal Systems Group EMEA channel sales organization and was a major driver in the channel transformation process leading the organization to a dedicated sales engine across the region.

During his 3 year tenure leading the channel, he grew revenue faster than the market, HP said, and strengthened HP’s leadership position in the channel and SMB segment. In his 17 years with HP, Barre has held different positions in sales and marketing both in EMEA and in North America.

HP has also announced Pierre Jover as vice president and general manager of channel sales for HP’s Personal Systems Group EMEA. Jover’s recent role was vice president corporate, enterprise and public sector of HP Personal Systems Group EMEA where he drove a highly successful organisation delivering double digit growth, HP said.

A 25-year veteran of the IT industry, Jover brings a very strong customer and channel sales experience gained in various assignments both in North America and EMEA according to the firm.

Barre and Jover will continue to report to Eric Cador, senior vice president, HP Personal Systems Group EMEA.
