Finnish mobile maker Nokia’s head of imaging and photography, Damian Dinning, will leave the company at the end of November this year to join UK automaker Jaguar Land Rover.
Dinning did not want to move his family from the UK to Finland as part of the mobilemakers’ effort to focus on operations.
Dinning was quoted by PureviewClub as saying that: "My family and I are based in the UK at a stage in our lives where relocation is unfortunately not an option."
"I have therefore made the tremendously difficult decision after nearly 9 years with Nokia to leave the company," he said.
Prior to joining Nokia in 2004, Damian worked at Eastman Kodak and Minolta.
Nokia chief executive Stephen Elop, who joined the company in 2010, has replaced most of its top management and the exit of Dinnig is the latest of several executives leaving the firm.
Nokia had reported sales of €7.42bn, down 17% from €8.98bn this quarter a year ago.
In October this year, Nokia had revealed plans to raise $972m through convertible bonds to strengthen financial position to regain its market share, which it lost to rivals such as Apple and Samsung.
