A week after the release of the first candidate Golden master, Apple has released a second golden master candidate of OS X Yosemite for developers.

Reports suggest that the Golden master identifiers have been revised before the launch of the software.

Apple is expected to release the OS along with the new iMacs soon.

The latest Golden master is Public Beta 5 version of OS, which is available for download via Mac App Store and Apple’s Mac Dev Center.

According to media reports, the second golden master release has bug fixes and performance enhancement over the previous release.

Apple has redesigned OS X Yosemite with new dock, windows, and interface when compared to OS X Mavericks.

Previously it was reported that Apple is planning a press event on October 16, to launch the big screen iPad lineup along with the next generation iMac with 27-inch Retina 5K display featuring OS X Yosemite.

Apple also released a second beta for iOS 8.1 for developers.
