Central London colocation data centre City Lifeline has partnered with data centre and Internet infrastructure provider Next Connex to deliver open access networking to its customers.
The new partnership will deliver enhanced network connectivity for customers, allowing connection to more carriers apart from the laredy present 22 carriers in City Lifeline’s central London data centre.
The multiple ultra-low latency 10Gb waves into the data centre will allow City Lifeline to connect with more than 200 carriers available at Telehouse North, including LINX and LONAP.
A redundant path to Telehouse North via Telecity Harbour Exchange provides full redundancy within a secure and resilient network, the company said.
In addition, the 10Gb waves into the data centre will also eliminate the need to maintain an expensive presence in London’s main carrier exchanges.
Next Connex managing director Bob Griffiths said: "We are excited to be partnering with such an established and respected name in the data centre industry like City Lifeline – our clients now have access to one of London’s most reliable sites for their colocation requirements, supported by our resilient network infrastructure."
