LG has started rolling out its Wi-Fi only LG G Pad 10.1, which will hit US market first followed by Europe, Asia and Latin America.

LG G Pad will come with a 10.10 inch screen and it will be company’s largest tablet in the G Pad series.

G Pad 10.1 comes preloaded with features like Touch & Shoot, Gesture Shot Selfies, Smart Keyboard and Dual Window, which will enables users to run two applications at the same time by splitting the tablet screen.

The tablet is powered by 1.2GHz Quad-CoreQualcomm Snapdragon, and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

It comes with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB memory which can be expanded up to 64GB with a microSD card. It also features an 8000mAh battery to offer a long lasting performance.

The next generation of G Pad comes with 5-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front facing camera.

One striking feature of LG G Pad 10.1 is the QPair 2.0 which provides convergence between Android-powered smartphones and tablets via a Bluetooth connection. This feature will allow users to receive calls, notification and read messages directly from the tablet.

LG Electronics president and CEO, Dr. Jong-seok Park said: "Tablets are increasingly being used as companion devices, which is why we made connecting the LG G Pad 10.1 to other devices so easy and convenient and why LG G Pad 10.1 offers the best core technologies of our G series smartphones."

It also includes Knock Code, that lets up to four users to register knock patterns to unlock the device.
