Samsung has announced an event in Singapore which alludes to the release of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom, or rather, the Galaxy K.

Built upon the Samsung Galaxy S5, the Galaxy K follows in the footsteps of its Zoom predecessors with a massively upgraded camera at the expense of some hardware features.

The conference in Singapore will happen on 29 April, and the invitation features a giant ‘K’ with the slogan ‘Kapture the moment’.

The Galaxy K is rumoured to sport a 20MP camera with 10x optical zoom, with an added 2.1MP front-facing camera.

Other specs include a 4.8-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, two 1.5GHz Cortex-A15 cores and a four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores (a hexacore Exynos processor), and it will run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
