Apple’s iPad tablets have topped the list of UK adults’ most romantic and desired gifts for Valentine’s Day, a new survey has revealed revealed.
According research by Rakuten’s Play.com, chocolate, which was the gift most adults expected to receive, did not make it to the list of the top five desired presents.
One fifth of the surveyed adults in the age group of over 55s are hoping to receive the Apple product on 14th February, while 18-24 year-olds are hoping for flowers, accordng to the report.
Over one in ten expect their partner to spend about £100 on their gift, while 43% expect receiving a gift below £10.
Several mobile apps for iOS and Android have also been launched ahead of the Valentine’s Day, which are expected to help individuals feel all warm and fuzzy inside by the end of the day.
