Judges have picked five regional winners for this year’s Tech Trailblazers Awards.
Norwefian file transfer firm Crypho won the European Trailblazers Cup, while left-of-centre cattle management software startup Tambero headed the list of Latin American contenders.
Cloud platform Nutanix, which just announced $101m funding, took the cup for the USA, while judges voted Kenyan startup Webdesk the best of those from Africa and the Middle East, as well as plumping for India’s counterfeit medical drug-exposing startup PharmaSecure.
Rose Ross, founder of the awards, said: "Congratulations and best of luck to them in the rest of the competition which is all still to play for. We ask all enterprise tech lovers within the global startup ecosystem to make their voices heard. Get voting for your favourites!"
Now the judges have had their say, the public gets to vote on shortlisted finalists across industry categories including cloud, big data and mobile.
The regional cup winners are included in the category shortlists, and voting closes at 11.59pm on Thursday, January 23.
