Designed for enterprise analytics, Teradata has announcement the shipment of two enhanced analytic platforms, the Active Enterprise Data Warehouse 6800 and the Integrated Big Data Platform 1800.

At its Partners 2015 conference in LA, the company said the products will work within its Unified Data Architecture (UDA), offering analytical power to enterprise analytics workloads.

Teradata claims that the Active Enterprise Data Warehouse 6800 runs the most demanding analytic workloads that require the highest performance and most consistent query response times.

The platform has the ability to support thousands of concurrent users, hundreds of applications, and massive volumes of data.

As for the Integrated Big Data Platform 1800, the firm said it will commercialise it at approximately $1,000 per terabyte of compressed data.

The platform enables customers to perform complex analytics at scale on a wide range of big data.

Oliver Ratzesberger, president of Teradata Labs, said: "The platforms are hungry for massive amounts of data and are ready to run a wide range of analytics."
