Ireland is continuing to be a focal point for tech investment with Pivotal the latest company to do so.
A €100m investment from the company will see it expand its existing operations in Cork and build a new office in Dublin.
This will create 130 jobs and aims to create a software innovation hub for both start ups and enterprise customers.
The overall goal from the company is to help expands its presence across EMEA, reaching more customers that are seeking to undergo a digital transformation.
Partially owned by EMC and VMware, Pivotal will create a Labs office in Dublin and recruit for full-time software engineering, technical support, operational and general admin roles, over the next five years.
Other expansions from tech companies in the country have come from the likes of SAS and in data centre expansion from the likes of Amazon and Apple.
