NetSuite has expanded its data centre footprint with the opening of two hubs in Europe. This follows today’s news that the EU Court of Justice has ruled the Safe Harbour Agreement as invalid.

The company has signed into TelecityGroup’s Amsterdam, Netherlands and Dublin, Ireland, hubs.

The company said the expansion will support its growth in the region and meet the needs of European companies adopting NetSuite’s cloud business management platform.

The firm said both data centres are expected to be operational this calendar year and both are powered with 100% renewable energy sources.

Responding to the EU-US Safe Harbour framework, NetSuite said the data centres will enable companies to store their NetSuite business data physically in the EU.
