Good Technology has unveiled two new enterprise split billing solutions to address the problems of bring-your-own-device (BYOD).
The solutions, Good Enterprise Suite with Data Service and Good Mobile Analytics and Reporting, will enable companies to eliminate friction from BYOD and corporate-owned-personally-enabled (COPE) rollouts.
Organisations can speed up enterprise mobility with the reduction of liability, controlled expenses and the removal of complexity.
With the help of the Good Enterprise Suite with Data Service, enterprises can provide employees access to secure email, calendar, contacts, documents and browsing without the problem of cellular data charges.
Good Technology said employees don’t pay for the information utilised by approved business apps, and the organisation is no longer required to execute stipend or expense recovery programmes.
The Good Mobile Analytics and Reporting solution will allow enterprises to have detailed insight into actual data usage on a per application basis.
Organisations can apply usage policy controls like roaming detection for eliminating unplanned spikes in data charges.
Good Technology chairman and CEO Christy Wyatt said: "One of the frequent concerns we hear is how to manage data costs while encouraging employees to use their personal devices at work.
"Our new Enterprise Split Billing solution addresses that concern by reducing the need for reimbursement programs and providing a one-stop solution for BYOD or COPE.
"Companies can streamline their mobility rollouts and mitigate potential legal and HR complications, while employees don’t have to worry about personal data usage or incursions on privacy. It’s a win-win scenario."
