Fujitsu has developed a new technology platform which will help in linking mobile devices to the cloud allowing business services to be accessed in a mobile environment.
The new platform will ensure exectuion of applications securely on smartphones for business use.
Fujitsu said that the new technology will automatically protect data without users having to consider where they are, delivers internal company services securely and executes them in any situation.
Fujitsu’s secure application execution platform is comprised of context desktop technology, execution environment technology and push technology.
Context desktop technology is developed to switch screens or manage distributed applications depending upon the situation, the company said.
The new application will ensure that those applications needed are delivered from the cloud to the smartphone, and they are erased when they are not require any more.
Control over the management of applications though cloud will allow users securely perform their work without posing risk to the company’s environment.
The secure execution environment technology that enables applications to be securely executed and imposes usage restrictions on the smartphone’s built-in camera or network access, enabling unnecessary operations to be prevented.
Fujitsu also developed push technology that enables the delivery of applications to smartphones, regardless of whether it is through the company’s own network or an external network.
