Good Technology has released a native version of its enterprise email and collaboration application, Good Work, for Apple Watch.
Available immediately in the iTunes app store, the app adds a new/unread email count and details on upcoming meetings. Users can read, delete, flag emails or mark them as read or unread using the force press gesture.
In addition, they are able to scroll through meetings for the day, with a more detailed view including meeting notes and a picture of the organiser. These capabilities come in addition to the currently supported email and calendar notifications.
Good is also updating policy controls in the Good Dynamics Secure Mobility Platform so that IT can customise ‘wear your own device’ programmes based on their security requirements.
They can enable or disable notifications and the app via a web-based management console. Good also supports the Apple Watch wrist detection restriction.
Good’s Good Work is already available on Android Wear devices.
"Enabling enterprise mobility means securing data accessed and used on all devices, whether smartphones, tablets or wearables," said Christy Wyatt, chairman and CEO of Good Technology.
Wyatt added: "The Good Work app for Apple Watch extends our leadership in wearables, allowing greater productivity for employees while also providing complete policy controls for IT."
