Microsoft has reportedly agreed to acquire 6Wunderkinder, a German startup that makes the Wunderlist to-do list application.

Citing a person familiar with the agreement, the Wall Street Journal reported that Microsoft would pay between $100m and $200m for the acquisition.

6Wunderkinder’s group of investors and partners include Sequoia Capital, Atomico and Earlybird Venture Capital.

The German company’s team will continue to operate via its Berlin-based offices, and report to Microsoft’s Redmond-based headquarters in the US.

The deal is latest in a series of acquisitions from Microsoft intended at expanding its mobile apps business.

It follows Microsoft’s acquisition of Sunrise Atelier, the calendar app maker for iOS and Android, earlier this year.

Last year, Microsoft acquired email app Acompli, rebranding it as Outlook to take on mobile email for iOS and Android platforms.

6Wunderkinder’s Wunderlist app works across several platforms including iOS, Android, OS X, Windows and the web.

Last month, 6Wunderkinder partnered with Sunrise Atelier integrating its Wunderlist app’s to-do feature with the Sunrise app. Users can see their Wunderlist to-dos in calendar and even to add to-dos directly from Sunrise.
