OpenText’s new Tempo Box Premium Edition for SAP simplifies the content management experience, by allowing users to securely synchronise and share personal and enterprise content across different devices and platforms.

The Tempo Box Premium Edition will provide a centralised platform, which will facilitate mobile access to users’ personal and enterprise content in a scalable and modular manner.

This approach is expected to help IT and business users to better collaborate with file sync-and-share capabilities that also fulfils security protocols of the enterprise.

With Tempo Box Premium Edition for SAP Solutions, customers without license of Extended ECM can view enterprise content that are connected to a business workspace in Extended ECM.

The solution also provides customers with easy and modern user experience, by allowing them to share and synchronise their documents across PC and mobile devices.

The documents are kept safe and the solution provides proper controls and retention of enterprise documents.

Customers will also get immediate access to historical data within the organisations’ ECM system.

OpenText chief marketing officer Adam Howatson said: "Non-sanctioned and ungoverned file sharing, along with decentralized content, poses high risk to companies and is a growing concern for CIOs.

"To combat the issue, companies are tasked with providing the same easy content access and sharing, but through a secure, governed and compliant content platform controlled by the company.

"With Tempo Box Premium Edition for SAP Solutions, we are able to help meet this need by offering these organizations the flexibility and efficiencies of mobile and desktop access without exposing them to risk from content shared on consumer sites."

The company claims that through OpenText and SAP partnership, customers have seen improvements across several areas of their business that has improved their relationships with employees, partners, customers, and suppliers.
