Citrix is currently hosting enterprise mobility experts and stakeholders from around the world in sunny Orlando for their Synergy conference. CBR has rounded up the biggest partnerships announced at the event.

1. Kony

This partnership with the multinational enterprise mobility company will provide a mobile app solution across the entire lifecycle to enterprises. Kony Apps, such as Mobile Sales Solution and Mobile Service Solution, are now verified by the Citrix Ready programme.

Dave Shirk, president, Products and Marketing, Kony, said: "Enterprise mobile apps are no longer a nice to have. It has now become a strategic imperative for businesses to effectively compete in this new mobile era."

2. Point.io

Point.io has added three new enterprise connectors to Citrix ShareFile. The mobile platform that allows businesses to access ‘behind-the-firewall’ information securely from mobile devices.

"We’re offering CIOs the most extensive set of connectors to bridge old technology with new, and address the Bring Your Own Devices and consumer cloud challenges that enterprises face," said Charles Paumelle, Managing Director International at Point.io.

3. Intercede

The cybersecurity company will offer Intercede’s Citrix Ready MyID technology to XenMobile customers. Together, MyID and XenMobile provide the necessary credentials for secure signing and encryption of corporate email messages delivered by Citrix WorxMail.

Intercede CEO Richard Parris said: "Citrix is the latest high-profile EMM vendor to select Intercede to deliver secure credentials to meet the needs of its wide-ranging customer base. The work we are doing together demonstrates Intercede’s growing reputation as a market-leading mobile security specialist capable of large-scale deployments of its trusted solutions."

4. Dell

Dell used the occasion to unveil desktop virtualisation solutions to optimise productivity and simplify deployment and management within Citrix environments. These include the Dell Appliance for Wyse – Citrix, Dell Wyse Device Manager 5.5 and Foglight for Virtualization.
